This reminded me of a hard luck army buddy once who could not keep a girlfriend to save his life. Nice guy but for some reason any girl he went out with soon took advantage of him. His luck eventually changed for the better but one day as I saw him leaving the barracks I asked him where he was going.
"I have a date," he said smiling.
"With who?" I asked back worried because his last girlfriend took him for a hundred dollars.
"With myself, I'm the best and cheapest date I ever had." He said.
I figured on some level he was right.

G' Day BEACH BUM, I agree with your army buddy it is cheaper. It's less emotional hassle because there's a lot of gold digging women out there :-).
Taking myself somewhere is definitely cheaper and easier than taking someone else.
