Love it Windsmoke. And that last line is soooo true. We should remember that.

Are you SURE you're not working undercover as a fantasty-novel-front-page-quote-writer??!!

G' Day THE ELEPHANTS CHILD: We could be snuffed out by a rogue asteroid or meteoroid or be burnt to a crisp by the sun at anytime :-).

G' Day RED: I'm just a ordinary Aussie bloke in retirement that's taken up Blogging as hobby :-).

That's exactly how I think about this little earth of ours.

I often dream of exploring space, but when I see one of those animated videos of the Earth receding in the distance and disappearing I get nervous.

And believe it or not once one of those videos is in very deep interstellar space I actually catch myself wondering if I will ever get back home.

Mental, I know.

G' Day DAVE: Thank you that's most encouraging :-).

G' Day RIVER: Great minds think a like :-).

G' Day BEACH BUM: I reckon you'd get homesick :-).

Well done, Windsmoke. I have been scrolling through your haikus. I have to admire how you can express such profound messages, all in 5,7,5 syllable format. I "dips me lid" to you (in the words of C.J. Dennis).

G' Day MAL: Writing Haiku can be challenging at times, but i love a challenge :-).

You certainly rise to the challenge, Windsmoke, and I am envious of your talent. I am more a "left brain" dominant type person, but admire those who are "right brain" creative types. Cheers.
