True Blue Haiku: Goodbye.

Each day of sorrow
Bears me closer to Goodbye
I'll lay down and die.

Crikey!

Either this is a really, really good Haiku or you're trying to tell us something....?

I feel a little alarmed but I am sure I shouldn't be.

I'm also a little concerned. Are you okay? Written in full because it is not RUOK day.

I've decided to put a good spin on this: It's only sorrow that ages us.

Good poem, Windsmoke, though it is understandable some might be concerned if the author is speaking of present personal circumstances. I am confident this is not the case. As we grow older, we realise that no matter how bad today may have been, the sun will rise tomorrow. What did Scarlett O'Hara (Vivien Leigh) say at the end of "Gone with the Wind" - "Tara! Home. I'll go home. And I'll think of some way to get him back. After all... tomorrow is another day."
