Q: Who was the best Joker in the Bible?.
A: Samson, because he always brought the house down!.

Mary had a little lamb.
Her Fleece was kind of golden.
She didn't frolic in a field.
She was driven in a holden*.

Dean Diner says, There's a Cockroach eating my steak.
Wilbur Waiter replies, They don't care what they eat do they sir!.

* A holden car is manufactured in OZ by General Motors of America.
Until next time keep smiling it costs nothing.

My family was in a diner down on the coast of South Carolina several years ago eating breakfast when my wife noticed a dead fly in her waffle. Naturally it ruined everyone's breakfast and we had the waitress call the diner manager to our table.

After showing the manager the fly we expected a refund but the manager only said "sorry", picked up the plate and with a knife cut the offending insect out of the waffle then put the it back in front of wife like everything was okay.

In the old days something like that would have the customers understandably walking out without paying. Now the manager calls the local sheriff if the customers don't pay no matter the condition of the food.

I will tell you this as loudly as I could I explained why we were leaving to all the other customers in the diner as we walked out. Had several new arrivals walk out with us and in a shitty situation that was good enough.

G' Day CLOUDIA: I'm glad you got a laugh out of it :-).

G' Day BEACH BUM: That's gross. Down here in OZ we demand a fresh meal and if we don't get it it's reported to the health department and then an investigation is done which could result in the shop being closed down on the spot :-).

Ha Ha. Any cockroach daring to eat my steak would get smacked with the sole of my shoe.
Just kidding. I'd make sure the manager knew about it and report it to the health department too.

G' Day RIVER & LIFE RAMBLINGS: Absolutely :-).

G' Day RED NOMAD OZ: Yes, cockroaches are usually scuttling away from you because they are frightened you will kill 'em :-).

G' Day DAVE KING: Thought i'd put that info in for people living outside Australia :-).
