Could use a thunderstorm here right now.
That's what they look like, coming on.
The idea of lightning that scintillates made me think twice, but isn't that what the best haiku do: make you think and more importantly feel. Thanks, Windsmoke.
Hi Windsmoke,A Great Haiku. We actually had blue skies here today, so things are finally starting to dry out. :)
I love thunderstorms brewing on the horizon, coming closer, smelling the ozone in the air, the rumble of thunder, flash of lightning, those first fat raindrops and the smell of them as they hit the dry earth. Nature at her best. Or worst, depending on your outlook.
I'm with Beach Bum! Where are they all?
Wonderful words Windsmoke, love it when the image is clear.
G' Day BEACH: I'll send one over special delivery right to your house :-).G' Day JOANNE: Glad you got the right image :-).G' Day ELISABETH: When the right image forms in your mind the rest just fall into place :-).G' Day MAGS: That maybe short lived with winter just around the corner :-).G' Day RIVER: I to like thunderstorm especially after a muggy day :-).G' Day DAVE: I'll send one over to you as well :-).G' Day PERTH: Its Bonza when a clear image forms in your mind :-).
