Fair Dinkum Haiku 016: Rope.

Coiled in the corner.
Rope resembles deadly snake.
Ready to defend.

Fascinating haiku, Windsmoke. I'm wondering how the rope might defend. Perhaps a little too concrete of me in my imagining. Thanks.

Great haiku, on a side note coiled rope does look a lot like a snake, especially after a few beers and the light buld in the closet is blown.

The only time I saw a coiled snake it looked like something entirely different. There were actually two snakes coiled together and they looked like a big pile of dog poo. I was about to step around it when it (they) moved. I froze.

That gave me goosebumps! So easy to imagine the snake in the corner - but with a sense of relief that it's just a bit of rope!! Well done!

G' Day RIVER, They were probably mating :-).

G' Day RED NOMAD OZ, Imagine if the snake was coiled in one corner of your bedroom on a windy stormy night :-).

G' Day LIFE RAMBLINGS, Thought provoking and scary that's if a snake is coiled in one corner of your room :-).

Got it! It's a trick of the light! Great stuff, though.

G' Day DAVE KING, That's one of the answers and the other is how vivid your imagination is :-).
